Depends what keywords you're targeting and what competition you're up against. Though there is no such thing as too much backlinking so keep going with it. If you're using some automated software then you can do thousands of links a day but if you're doing it manually I guess 30 or so is realistic.

I agree with sorell, it's depends on the number of keywords also. But all in all number of links, I can build up to 300 links a day.

I don't do this each and every day, but at the moment I'm using a plugin which submits articles to other sites which have my links. What I'm really trying to focus on though is building 4-5 high PR links (PR3,PR4,PR5) to each of my sites on a daily basis. That doesn't sound like much, but over a month that works out to more than 120 high quality backlinks.

I think is more important to build backlink every day. Is not the number that counts. Is the fact that you do something for your site daly. Is the quality that counts not the number

Is not how many backlinks you build daily. The important thing is consistency.

The problem lies when you build 1,000 backlinks today and 0 for the next 5 days. The key to doing backlinks is consistency, instead of building 1,000 in a day build 50 every day for 20 days.

On a low competition keyword I'd say 10-20 a day over the course of a month or so should give you a pretty good boost.

Just don't do 500 one day and 0 the next. Spread things out and make them look natural.

All of these are good ideas! Sometimes the high PR links are few and far between so I spend my time building links in other areas with lower PR. It is hard but you just have to do something every day.

This is what im starting to realize. Even if you do build say 100 backlinks on the first day then 10 the next day the links will not be indexed. Some links take longer than others to get "discovered." So I think keeping it consestant as in building 10 and every day it doesnt matter.

Maybe 2 get indexed the first day then 12 the 2nd day and perhaps 8 the 3rd day. This is a bit of relief to me because im starting to realize perhaps building backlinks in spurts will not hurt your rankings.

I agree with those who say the number of backlinks won't hurt your site.

Try to use services or softwares which creates a report for you. In this case you can easily paste the list of urls into your "backlink booster".

Back linking is a backbone of off-site SEO. literally there is no limit of how much back links you can build up each day and also there is variety of way you can do back linking like for instance
1)directory submission
2)blog posting
3)article posting
4)forum commenting
5)blog commenting
6)social book marking etc etc etc

it is recommended that you do back linking using all of the above methods instead of focusing on any one

As much back links you can create on a daily basis with high PR sites, As much it will be beneficial for your site. Because of link popularity you are getting on a daily basis that's the main goal of Back linking.

I do not go for number of backlinks while there is fix daily time that I spent for building backlinks. I give 4 hours daily for seo work.

It depends actually, if your using automated software probably you can create a thousands of links per day but if your only doing it manually, I think 30-50 links in a day.

I don't backlink NEAR enough. I have days that I'll get up to 10, but other days where I don't do any. I find myself concentrating on my articles to the detriment of my backlinks. I need a better balance, I think. Yet my articles ARE getting indexed, often on the first few pages of G, so I guess I'm not totally wrecking myself.

I usually build 15-20 backlinks per day. As long as you build backlinks gradually like for a new site.. start with 5 BLs per day then gradually increasing this by 5 every week.

Make your website's link growth appear natural so that you will not appear as a spammer to Google.

Be consistent with your link building... 100 backlinks per day is way too much for me to maintain. Go for backlink quality.

So, seo-expert, what happens when something goes completely viral on the Internet, just explodes everywhere... blogs, websites, youtube, forums, everyone is talking about them... they may end up getting tens of thousands of links everyday in a surge and then just die down.

My lowest right now is about 5ish per day I believe, for my lowest scum PLR ridden website which is just an experiment and I don't think I give 2 shiz about it...lol.

My highest currently is at about 100+/day.

I guess it really depends on the keywords, sometimes 60-80 per day for me, and I'm not really building links everyday. But it still depends on the keywords on how many I do build.
