More details are needed if any of use are going to able to tell you. What kind of backlinks, do you change any of your backlink methods recently?

What are you primarily doing to get links to your site?

I'm not understanding. Has your site been de-indexed or has it just been devalued enough so that you don't appear any where near the top 10 for your keywords?

These are two VERY different situations.

There are many who are going to come in here and tell you "don't put all your eggs in one basket." This is a hard way to learn that lesson.

Regardless to fix the issue (especially if its scenario number two outlined above) you really need to take a look at the following.

Content - What kind of content do you have up on the site. Is it relevant. Is it original. Is it spun? Does your site feel particularly spammy?

Backlinks - Does your backlink profile look spammy? Where are your backlinks coming from? Do you have enough links from "related and relevant" sources that outweigh your links that are unrelated?

    I would start there.

Finally if your site was simply de-indexed you have a really long road ahead of yourself. Bunker down and prepare for the long haul.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

I Have 8 authors to post on my site so there is no way that my site was posting spam articles and also the site was news related...

Your site looks ok, i don't understand what could happened with it. Indeed google deindexed all of your links. Try to go into webmaster tools and see there for more info.

maybe some backlinks were unrelated and Google decided to ban you?
Or maybe you interlinked too much with other sites or it could be an IP issue?

Another person I know that has a very popular site lost tremedous ranking and value with the last algo change and he feels it is because his content was scraped and duplicated.

I checked several of the articles and they are all over the net at other sites.

Wonder if this could be part of the issue...

I agree. The site also links out to a torrent site. Not a good idea.

I'm getting a McAfee warning saying 'McAfee TrustedSource web reputation analysis found potential security risks with this site. Use with extreme caution.' I can't see anything on the Site Advisor page to be worried about, it says the outbound links are fine and nobody has given it a bad review.

Could be a Trojan that's causing the problem. If it's been on there a while and Google have detected it. I'm probably wrong but the warning is there.

I use McAfee toolbar too, but did not get this message.
Have you considered on moving a new webhosting? (VPS, Dedicate Server)
Or have a web scanning of your website?

I suspect from what you say that the site's taken a major fall in the SERP's.

Not sure. Does the site contain any content which was originally published and indexed on that site, or is it all content that had originally been indexed on other sites before it appeared on yours?
I think you've checked the wrong URL, Alexa.

His domain is newsnidea.com (at least according to his link); you appear to have checked newsidea.com

His domain doesn't appear to be indexed by Google so far as I can see from that site you used, nor through a direct site:newsnidea.com search at Google.

If, as Patricia says, malware has been detected on the site, there's a very good chance that that's the reason Google (and perhaps the other search-engines, if they ever even indexed it to begin with?) has deindexed it.

Google has a rotating algorhythm. I used to be #1 for the search term 'piano lessons.' Not anymore. Who knows what happened. Only Google. Too much power for one company to have.

The only power they have is the power given to them by "marketers" who rely on Google to market for them.

If more "marketers" looked at Google as an embellishment to their existing strategy rather than their entire marketing strategy, Google would just be another lead generator.

The same mistakes (IMHO), are being made with Facebook and Twitter where businesses are relying on a third party to control their most valuable asset. Their list.

Anyone who allows another company to control their income and database of leads is doomed to fail.

    Simon,

Further to my above post, your best shot at finding out what's going on with your site is to add it (if it's not already added) to Google Webmaster Tools.

From there you can check the number of pages indexed (which looks to be none at all, on Google's front-end), and also use it to find out if Google has indeed detected malware on your site, or has found "serious HTML problems" (in case you've inadvertently engaged in b1ackhat on-site SEO - though I'm not sure if WT gives feedback about that sort of stuff). You should certainly be able to gather some indication of what's happened through Webmaster Tools, anyway. And that's just about the best shot you'll have at finding out anything for definite, since if you contact Google they're unlikely to reply/comment, and everyone here (including myself) can only really speculate.

    Good luck.

You may have been banned for engaging in illegal conduct such as criminal copyright infringement.

First link on the home refers to a page with this:

Download Lil Wayne I am no a human being album torrent here. (torrent link removed)

That page also failed a copyscape check. Unless you are originator of the content looks like this may be one big, scraped, mass of copyright violations.

A quick check also sees copyright violations for song lyrics.

Call it a triple-whammy on copyright issues.

So unless I'm wrong about all of this, it is a little annoying that you would come into the forum proclaiming you have no clue why your site was banned. My guess: permanent ban.

Add in the multitude of "news" stories advocating loan applications, debit cards, etc. and you have a classic splog. Be grateful the ride lasted as long as it did...
