I will stick for All in One SEO and the free version is very doable too, if you have extra cash to spend then get SEO Pressor or Clickbump SEO and you will be glad you did.

There's another post somewhere hear on the warrior forum I saw a while back that
is a wordpress plugin that keeps on adding related keywords from google does
anyone remember the post.

  I have used Yoast, Platinum SEO and All in One SEO different times and seen how they worked, ALl in One SEO got me the best result, buddy for goodness sake, that plugin has got everybody who really knows what the heck they are doing in SEO talking, you can either see it or turn your eyes away and pretend you don't see it.

  All in One SEO is a great plugin. That's what I use on my site.
  
  Just a suggestion, you may also check out these useful Wordpress SEO plugins (I have these on my site as well):
  Landing Sites - When visitors arrive to your site from a search engine, this plugin will show them all related posts to their search on your blog
  
  Ppinger - allows your visitors to ping your blog once it's been updated.
  
  SEO Friendly Images - this automatically adds alt and title attributes to existing images on your blog.
  
  Seo Slugs - removes words like 'a', 'the', "what", etc from post URL making it more search engine friendly.

  Hi highbids, for one thing it replaces at least 4 other plugins, besides seo, right off, lightening the load.
  
  It is far more thorough than the other ones mentioned, and is constantly updated.
  
  Yoast is not just a run of the mill plugin maker but a world class seo...he has a lot at stake.
  It has one or two things that either I don't understand right or need to be improved...but it so much plugin that I couldn't possibly go into it here.
  
  My advice is to try it, hell it's free...but it is definitely worth a try.

I'd go for AIO SEO plugin.

Though, IMO, it is the identification of niche/keyword to go for that is more important.

Most importantly, regular, relevant and unique contents are what that attracts high SERP. Good unique contents surely attract visitors and stickiness.

I tried the Yoast but for some reason it kept freezing my site up. It could have been something else entirely, but once I took out the Yoast no more freeze-up.

  I personally have never had a freeze up problem. The only problem I had was something screwing up on the redirects.
  Which he has since put a small aside to that, in the plugin.
  
  I'll be the first to admit that it is a bit of a complex plugin sometimes.
  He's so 'head and shoulders' above me in seo, that I have learned quite a bit, just looking up things to find out what the hell he is talking about. lol
  
  Depends what you want, you know. Something simpler might do the trick for you.
  If you have the time, like I said, it's worth taking a look at.

  All in one is not the best but still very good! If you want the best seo plugin for wardpress then i would highly recommend the Platinum seo pugin.

Use Platinum SEO or AIO SEO in combination with the Search Terms Tagging plugin, they're 2 completely different things, both of which are beneficial SEO-wise.

People have very different opinions about this but I'd say go with All In One SEO Pack. I know it takes some server power but it's easy and it works.

  Seriously consider SEO Beast. It is still inexpensive and Prashant is rapidly moving this product to top shelf level product. As you can see in the threads, he is very proactive in staying on top of questions and concerns.
  
  SEO Beast makes fine tuning your pages very straight forward to tweak what you need to to get a page ranked well.
