What is the Best Method For Keyword Ranking?

I am still pretty new, and am thinking of article writing to attract visitors to my website. However, I heard that in order to get good rankings, you need to focus on putting in the right amount of keywords.

I heard that if you have an article about "weight loss" and the keyword is "losing weight fast" you would make that your title and then start your article off with that exact phrase. Obviously, that particular keyword would be extremely competitive but I was curious if that was even correct.

Also, if having 2-3 keywords per 100 is the right formula. Any comments about this from those that have been successful would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Keyword saturation is just part of the process. There is much more to it. Honestly, I have tested this as well as a couple of my associates. It is actually possible to rank for a keyword that is not anywhere in your website. Though it definitely makes sense to have the keywords within your content. This is mostly an on site discussion though. There is much more to the process.

I would suggest hanging out in the SEO section here, and check out some other SEO forums as well. You will learn a lot about what goes into it.
