Getting backlinks at the same Blogs a bad idea?

I have about 8 sites and I've developed a list of about 30 PR 2-6 and every time I make a new website I go to the same blogs with auto approve and blog comment to grab some high PR backlinks.

Is this a bad practice? Should I not be doing this? I try to get relevant backlinks too.

  • if your screwed them i'm doubly screwed because i from time to time will blog comment on 2 different articles from the same blog. i just backlink to 2 different posts on my blog in each comment
  • I would say that it is a bad practice. Though it will not harm your site, but you should learn how to find other blogs. That activity is considered as spamming.

    • Every time I find new ones I add to the list, then after my list I slowly go out and purchase backlinks..

  • I think its still good since it is a backlink too and you did it in the unique URL.
  • It's better to avoid since it is consider as spamming
  • In my opinion, It is a very bad practice. Instead of that, Just try to get relevant back links.
  • Maybe it is. You sound like a spammer. Learn to be more resourceful and find other blogs.
  • I think its has no bad effect but its possible that it doesn't help you too. Because as i know, usually high pagerank dofollow pages, are full of links and in this case adding your links to them, can't help your site a lot.
  • Don't get stuck with those blogs for your backlinks. What happens if the any of those blogs goes down? Your links will go down with it and your websites will suffer. Always diversify your link just in case some of them disappear.
  • Best to get links from varied ip addresses!
