Beat An Adsense Manual Review... Wanna know how?
- SEO |
Well, I can't say I know all of the answers but I was manually reviewed and I passed the test.
How do I know I was reviewed? I received an adsense message that my site had been reviewed and that the content on my site wasn't acceptable according to the adsense TOS.
However, my account was not banned. I'm not here to cry a river.
So, why do I think my site passed the review? Why do I still have an adsense account?
First, some info about the site,
The site only has 7 articles, all from ezinearticles. No unique content. It's a thin MFA site with no redeeming value. Also, the site is in the sex tips niche with articles such as How to make anal sex more pleasurable. To top it off the site has plenty of pics of hotties in a near state of undress. I know what my demographic likes
Yep, this site is breaking nearly every rule in the adsense book yet my adsense account still survives.
Why?
It doesn't look like an MFA site or a quickly thrown together autoblog or any of the other generic low value sites. It doesn't use an adsense template or layout or follow any of the other well known adsense business models.
It looks like a real website.
It has a very nice custom theme that I designed. All of the articles have thumbnails. The sidebars have additional content etc...
Why is any of that important?
A reviewer doesn't have all day to review a site. My guess is a reviewer spends less than 5 minutes checking a site and has already made up his/her mind as soon as the home page pops up.
Let's face it, MFA sites are easy to spot. I know if a site is an MFA site or a legitimate website as soon as I see it so I'm positive that a google employee can do the same.
Time is on your side when it comes to a review.
You have the opportunity to make a strong first impression. Convince the reviewer that your site isn't a giant lump of garbage clogging up the internet. Don't give a reviewer a reason to dig deeper into your site to see it for what it really is.
If my naughty little 7 page site had been using a typical adsense wordpress theme screaming I'm an MFA site, I'm pretty sure my adsense account would be gone.
Are you going to lose a couple of bucks because your site isn't 100% optimized to trick your traffic into clicking adsense ads, yeah. Would you rather make an extra $.32 today or take steps to make sure you still have your adsense account tomorrow?
Another alternative, create sites that have value but where is the fun in that
Just something to think about.
Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise
