I just purchased scrapebox and my question to you is..

How do you use scrapebox effectively?

I've done some quick blog commenting, but there must be more ways to find .edu blogs, etc.

can anyone help me out here?

Thanks,

Jeremy

SB can be dangerous if not used right. Google likes natural looking traffic and backlinks, so using something like SB to blast things, can put you in the sandbox quickly. Slow and moderate is the key.Buffer site means second tier link that contains links to your money site.

What ways can I go about getting backlinks?

How can I set it to blog commenting, forum posting, etc..

As a new user to scrapebox I found Pat's video series and PDF guide an invaluable help. It's given me so many more ideas on how I can use this great tool. Pat's videos take you all the way through the basics of scraping and commenting as well as covering pings, trackbacks and RSS submission. The PDF document also goes into a lot more detail. Pat's style is very casual and helpful. I see myself watching these quite a few times to pick up tips. The videos are in a large easy to read format and of a high standard. Highly recommended for new users of scrapebox. Pat has also been helpful enough to respond to questions over email.

This is the best resource I have found on how to use SB. There are a lot of links on this thread to different tutorials on how to use SB. You should be able to find what you need here.

    1. scrape up a fresh list of proxies to harvest with.

    2. Pick as many keywords as you want, in my test I did 4 targeted keywords to my site and found about 500 postable blogs with those keywords in their URL somewhere. This makes your comments very niche related, and important to the other webmaster. When choosing the keywords to scrape with, just put

    inurl:keyword (no spaces)
    inurl:keyword two
    inurl:keyword three
    inurl:keyword 4

    3. run the harvester, i usually only do google and yahoo. once this is done, i always save my results into a text list. You dont want to loose your precious data, and trust me, sometimes scrapebox crashes at the worst times.

    4. Run the scrapebox plugin "blog analyzer" on all the websites you come up with. once this is done, click the filter button and push remove bad blogs/captcha blogs. now I usually save this as a list again, just in case.

    5. Now, this may be the hardest part. I usually write 3 8-10 sentence comments, and then put them in spintax form {like|kinda like|sort of like} this. This allows fast poster to spin your comments, and reduces footprint with google, or websites with multiple pages. This part is very critical and can ruin your campaign. You have to make your comments believable so the moderator doesn't think its SB. What can make this step easier is if you secure a copy of "the best spinner". This software allows you to take text and put it in spintax form really easily. You push tab and it goes through word by word and gives you replacements, then automatically puts them in spintax.

    6. Once you have your good spun comments, and your analyzed blog list, then load them up in fast poster and blast away . This is a very targeted, relevant, good way to use scrapebox. Hell, when I tested this i did it straight to my money site, usually I use scrapebox to build mass comments to spokes on my link wheels. This is definitely the more whitehat way of using scrapebox.
