Backlinks not showing results

Some times it happen some links are not showing instantly. Just keep working on your site with quality work and.

Backlinks often take a while before they show up, and some never show up at all. You can ping the page that has your link on it and that can often help. But what I find works even better is building backlinks to my backlinks. It gives my links more juice to pass on to me and it helps them to get indexed.

What is the best way to check backlinks that we have built for our website ?

Its seems that too many people are focusing on backlinks to increase PR which has little impact on SERPS (Search Engine Results)

Most sites including .org make their links 'no follow'. This is a fact becuase i have spoken directly to the .org webmasters who nhave invited me to write content for their sites. Anybody can buy a .org domain name

Links do not increase the qaulity of your content. If you think you can 'get on over' Google stop dreaming and wake up.

However, qaulity natural links from high PR sites which are highly related to your sites content will help your PR if the anchor text is correct and the link points to a permalink on your site with that anchor text in it. Page/Post titles, headings and sub headings which include that anchor text keyword(s) will help as well

There's many factors which need to be right to get the most benefit from incoming. But the bottom line here is that signature links from qaulity related sites work best when it comes to increasing PR. Page Rank will not help your SERPS though as its just one in over 200 factors Google uses when calculating SERPS. And one factor thats becoming less and less important as more and more site owners build artificial links to try and increase PR and SERPS.

The best way to build PR and SERPS is to write more qaulity ORIGINAL content on an regular bases.

I think in reality you will find that your SERPS therefore your traffic will increase if you do this and stop creating artificial baclinks at the same time.

Thats my own personal experience to date and may not reflect other web masters results.

I never said backlinks are not important. So in all fairness, you should retract that statement.

I said , Backlinks only account for one in over 200 off page seo elements that Google considers when calculating your search engine indexing

If pagerank PR is what you want then build backlinks preferably from industry sites related to yours with a higher PR

If increasing your SERP is what you want, then write more highly relates ORIGINAL content

PR is on 1/200 factors that influences your search engine results and the facts are that Google themselves deleted PR (Page Rank) from Google Webmaster tools back in 2009


My suggestion to all: Stop following other people's bad habits and incorrect advice and start focusing on keyword research and on page SEO factors rather than off page link building.

Google is looking for the best qaulity original content that's specifically related to the search query.

Goolge is NOT looking for the site that has built the most backlinks

Backlinks do not increase the qaulity of the content or make the content more relevant to the searchers query

Google is aware many I.M are building backlinks for this purpose and are discounting the value of backlinks because of this

Internal linking to related content on your site has more influence on your SERP than backlinks.

TIP: Write another post targeting a similiar keyword that you have already written about so that new content supports your original post.

Example: If you have written a post about installing wordpress also write another post about other wordpress installation methods and link it using keywords (anchor text) to your original post

Backlinks may be holding you back as google will penalise you if they think you are trying to artificially increase your PR by building backlinks.

Are your .edu backlinks getting indexed?

I would agree that you should built backlinks to your backlinks to push more juice through to the end pages and thus increase your rankings.

Please tell me that .edu backlinks are not the only ones you are getting?

Have you checked whether the links are "nofollow" or "dofollow"? If all of your .edu forums are "nofollow" you will probably need to increase your backlinking methods.

As mentioned above, quality original content and a fresh user-friendly design is important, but backlinking should be your main purpose if you really want to rank.

I recommend expanding your backlinking repetior. Don't just go for .edu backlinks. I know they are good but what niche are you in? Are you promoting schools? If not, your competition probably doesn't have many .edu backlinks so your site will stick out as being a little strange to Google.

Get all types of related forum backlinks (from threads AND profiles), do some blog commenting, do some social bookmarking, do some guest posting, do some article marketing.

You need to expand your methods in order to get a wide range of backlinks and establish a bit of authority with Google.

Of course, the difficulty of your competition will determine how many and how much backlinking you should do, either way backlinking should definitely be at least 80% of your SEO focus.

New content won't matter if no one ever sees it!

Some links are not shown in an immediate process. Give more extra efforts on what you are doing. Just keep working on your site with quality work.

Backlinks is just to push your sites higher..for long term traffic, i prefer to write content and publish on directories...not only it build up the backlinks it also provide readers with information..It serve no purpose if you have lots of backlinks but not much content on the site too...

you just have to be patient because it will take quite a long time for your backlinks to show up.
