I have been internet marketing for about 3 years now and from my previous experience (including several brush with Google's rules), I have come to the conclusion that it is best to play by the rules if I am serious of building a sustainable online business in the long run.
I try to stay away from the various 'backlink packets' or mass backlinking services available out there because my gut feeling tells me that it will just be a matter of time before Google catches up on these mass backlinking strategies.
For the reason above I have been trying my best to be as 'proper' or 'white hat' as possible in building backlinks for my sites.
I currently have someone to build blog comments for me for about two weeks now and I hope to see some results soon. Are blog comments still good for backlinking?
On my side, i build backlinks within the pool of websites that I own as well as some hubpages and squidoo pages. So far, the best performing (in terms of getting indexed fast) backlinks are those that I built on my own sites as well those on my hubpages and squidoo pages.
The thing is, I only have about 20 of such websites. I realize that the long term sustainable way to build backlinks in the long run is to outsource it.
As mentioned above, I have hired someone to do lots of blog comments for me for about two weeks now and I hope that I will begin to see positive results soon.
Have anyone had any good experience with some good white-hat backlink strategy?
Would really appreciate any feed back.
Thanks in advance for your help!
