Advertising for Gambling on My Site

Just the other day I was offered a flat rate to advertise for a gambling site on my niche website. Currently this site doesn't pull in much in adsense or affiliates at this point. My question isn't so much about profit, but instead I'm wondering if advertising for a poker site will have a negative effect on my site in search engines.

From what I understand anything adult, firearms, pirating, and gambling related all are against Google's TOS for AdSense and can negatively impact your site? Does this sound about right?

    Just wanted to bump this once and hopefully get an answer. The flat fee they offered is pretty good, however I don't want to hurt my website for just one ad.

    it will not harm your site. As long as you follow Search engine's standards, you will no get penalize from it.
