Have you ever thought what would be the future of Google and SEO. Google algos are becoming more and more clever day by day. It has now the power to find the culprits manipulating their results.

The future of Google algos cannot be predicted. Anyone has god some perceptions on what are going to be the major changes in the Google algos?

      It's all in the past. It's actually never changed.
      They just have gotten on the ball and started to enforce
      their own guidelines. If you always followed google webmaster
      guidelines, you have nothing to predict.

  • I think the one thing to look for is that search will become more social. Optimization already includes building social buzz as much as backlinks, the SERPs themselves are going to have more and more social tools and factors in them.

    I bet another development will be searcher customization of search/presentation, so people will be able to tilt the results to their preferences. I can imagine tougher times for SEO, because the SERPs would not be consistent for a kwd any more.

  • Base will remain same and the priority will be to fill up the loop holes manipulated by webmasters! That's what they've been doing and looks like will be the same in future too!
  • I think the whole new Google +1 button would be included in the future ranking algos. They get direct votes from users for a particular site. Or will they be spammed the crap out by people who make automated s/w to click on the +1 button..

    It may only remain as personalized search ranking method.
