Off Page SEO Clarification

I've been reading about off page SEO for a while and just want some confirmation on what I've read before I sink some time and money into it.

Is it wise to create pages related to my main site on things like squidoo and hubpages and then do some backlink building to those pages? This would be in addition to building back links to my main page of course.

Is there really a big benefit to this?

  • some have had a lot of success doing what you just described. I find it a lot of work and have depended on other methods. I do think that each niche is slightly different and what works for some really well might not work for you as well. The best thing to do is get your feet wet and try out a few things and see how it works out for you.
  • Yes, a lot of folks do well by doing this and it is a good strategy to use. The key is to diversify your link building. I have links coming in from high PR blogs, but also low PR pages from other sites, and even the resources pages of other sites. The key is to mix it up and make it look nice and natural.
  • Yes. In fact, it is a good way of optimizing your site. You're in a right track my friend.
  • Excellent. That's what I thought. Thanks for the information guys (or gals)!
