Aim at bad indexed state of my site, many people suggest that you should add new content to the site, update the sitemap.xml and make Google know the update of the site. yes, I always do this, However, I am now puzzled that should I update the sitemap.xml everyday and resubmit the updated sitemap.xml to Google everyday through Google webmaster, the premise is that new content is added to my site every day.

Yes you can submit it, but you don't have to.
It is being downloaded every day automatic.

    Can you? Yes you can.
    Should you? No probably not.
Why - there is no need, Google periodically checks sitemaps for updates.

I don't think you understand how Google checks a sitemap.xml file.

The only thing Google cares about when checking a sitemap.xml file is the url, that's it, nothing more (assumes your xml is valid).

If the url is correct & no errors show in GWT (Google Webmaster Tools), don't mess with the sitemaps url inside GWT.

You can update the actual sitemap.xml file all day long, just don't play around with the url (keep the url the same, no reason to change it).

If you are running a blog it will update the sitemap.xml automatically. If you have it setup in webmaster tools you can see when is the last time google pulled it. Nothing else you need to do.
