I have noticed that when I optimize for Google, Bing tends to follow right along. Bing seems to value the title and meta tags more than Google does, and it tends to count more of your backlinks. Other than that the techniques are similar: optimize the content and meta tags for target keywords, and build backlinks.

Disclaimer: all of this is just speculation and observations from my personal experience.

-Also Keyword Rich Domains ranks very easily in Bing....

as example one of my sites (Keyword Rich Domain) rank #39 in Google

        and #11 in Bing

-Age of the site is another factor that Bing is giving a lot of Weightage

Create high quality backlinks and do your onpage seo exactly how you would to rank for any search engine. The fundamentals of seo work for all search engines, but their algorithms differ slightly.

    Cheers

Just do SEO the way you do for Google. The traffic will come from bing naturally. However, the traffic will be much lower because of less people search in bing.

I really wouldn`t even waste my time with thinking about Bing i would spend the time learning how to rank better in google this is just IMO but i have alot of sites ranked high in Bing just by trying to rank in Google and i can tell you now i get absolutly no traffic from them in fact its quite shocking the amount of traffic google sends to your site compaired with Bing and Yahoo really really opens your eye as to how important/powerful google really is the others arn`t even close.

You optimize for Yahoo and Bing the same way you do for Google. Their algorithms are very similar to one another.

Well you might be right, i just noticed my domains/pages rankings are not similar at all in the popular searchengines. In ex. one is on pos1 in yahoo, page 2 in bing and page 5 in big G. (keydomain)

    steps for optimizing Bing;
    1) Focus on categories presented for your most key search terms. Use Bing's categories in your key words and in your site navigation.
    2) domain age is iportant. Building micro-sites off your main site vs. independent new sites is key for Bing. Additional findings for Bing thus far.
    3) Text Rules
Bing favors pages with at least 300 words of text.
    4) Linking Out
Bing favors linking out more than other engines as long as the links are relevant to the overall context of the site

The Google No.1 has a massive link popularity and a better link diversity. The Google site even enjoys a more focused anchor distribution.Domain age is big factor in Bing higher age higher be the ranking. Also for acquiring good ranking in Bing try to acquire links from pages with your keywords in the title tag.

I find bing puts alot more weight on exact match domains. All my exact match domain sites rank in position #1 in Bing but not in Google.

You just have to do the same link building methods like what you did in ranking your site in Google.
