Hi guys, I'm pretty new to adsence, but can see it's potential.

When I click into my adsence account, it just tells me page views and clicks, but not where they're from.

Do I need to intergrate with google analytics?

Yes, hook your Adsense account up to your GA (Google Analytics) account.

You can drill down to individual page levels for Adsense, inside Analytics.

GA will also tell you how much $$ each individual page is earning.

I use both GA and Channel and find Channel more relevant and useful.

While you can integrate it with Analytics, you certainly don't have to. What you want to use is channels.

Go to AdSense Setup (top bar) -> Channels (blue bar) -> URL channels. The URL ones are easiest to use - you just put the URL of the homepage of the site where you will be getting AdSense clicks from, and it separates out the ones from that site.

You can also use custom channels but I personally find those less useful.

I've used both channels & "Adsense + GA", channels doesn't even come close to matching the data GA will give you.

    Just sayin...

With the GA it gives me a bit of code, do I just pop this in the header tag of my site?

What happens after that, I can see stats on GA?

      Hey,

I´ve just been tracking my clicks and results in the
Google Adsense backoffice. All I can see there is
how many page impressions per week which is
mostly pretty inaccurate because it is influenced
by my own IP, and the clicks I got.

How can you integrate Adsense with Analytics?
It would be interest to see for which KEYWORDS
      Im getting clicks.

      Thanks a lot!

      Gerald

Well, at the moment, I just want to know which sites are being clicked

My sites only have a couple of pages, and there's only a few of them, for now anyway.

I've added a custom channel and added my ads I'd like to track to it.

yeah, Google analytic shows you to your page viewer with where its come from means in where and what ip is used on your account. It means when they are click your adsense account and that time google analytic record their information.

Creat URL channel is good enough unless you want to know which specific ads were the clicks from.

UrL channels are okay for seeing which domain is generating clicks, but you don't want to be using them for page level reporting (unless your site is very small). It's also worth noting that you're limited to 200 url channels. GA provides far more granular data, if that's your thing.
