seo a mispelled domain?

Hey guys a got a question, I recently came across a niche I want to promote a product for. I have found that the keyword I am going for often times gets misspelled in google. 3600 exact local volume to be exact. So I went ahead and purchased the misspelled domain for that misspelled keyword.

Does anyone have any experience or know if you can seo a misspelled domain for a often times misspelled keyword? Does google allow this?

The good news is, popular programs like MNF are giving this keyword a green light to rank.

I would go for it. As long as people are searching for it then there's nothing wrong.

  thanks, i bought the .com, .net, and .org haha I know I didnt hit a gold mind but im excited. There is competition for the 2nd and third place, but they are optimized for the correct keyword spelling, hopefully I wont have a problem getting by them
