I've worked hard on an amazon site. I found an exact match .com for my targeted keyword. The keyword is not trademarked, but is a serial number. It gets just under 4000 monthly searches.

The site is about 2 weeks old, on page seo is bang on, i've a few articles on article directories, I've a squidoo page, a youtube video, I've submitted it to lots of social bookmarking sites, I've pinged it!

I'm using scroogle.org to search for it, and it's not coming up in the top 100.

Other domain names have the trademarked brand and serial number.

What more can I do?

Probably google dancing. Give it time.
    It's just two weeks.

I suggest you keep the linkbuilding going. join some forums that are related to the niche. do some high PR profile links.

Did you try in Google by typing Site:url ??

If it does not exist, then your site has been banned from Google.

    Yea, i second that.
this query will show you the indexed pages of your site
if this query returns null then your site is possibly hanging in sandbox
another website to check whether your site has been penalized is: searchenginegenie.com/sandbox-checker.htm

The Google Dance means your website is being noticed.

Give it time and it will give you the ranking. Easy enough, right?

I think you website is very new try to keep the link building phase slow as possible before search engine banned you website. Search engine can put your website in sandbox to avoid this try to keep the link building slow.

I did use a fiverr gig getting 500 backlinks... this must be the problem.

The site was 2 months old at that stage... But I only really seo'd it 2 weeks ago.

Is it doomed, or should I keep link building?

It takes time and some folk expect things to happen overnight, If only it were that easy! You should start to see things happen after 2 months of your efforts and get the real position on Google that you deserve.

May be your site needs some changes friend. The new algorithm is punishing sites with lot of ads or sites meant only for affiliate ads. Make the site userfriendly, change the layout to other top ranking sites and hopefully it should be back.

No, that's not it, the site is solid. It's an amazon affiliate site, and it's modeld on one which from a wso, which I paid $97 for.

There's 2 articles, 600 words each, with good seo.
