No, Google has no idea who makes the comments. As far as Google knows a WP comment is part of an article or any other text on the page.

    • great, have you ever done this?
  • It's your blog, let Google figure it out. Spam away!

    • thats the point I dont want them to figure it out... lol. If they can then I wont do it
  • If you're basing your business practices on whether or not you get caught then you've got bigger problems than Google finding out.

No..there is no bad effect on your site by Google.
Even Google doesn't identify if you make comment using another id & pass.
  • Yea to be honest why do you want to spam your own blog with fake comments? That's about 3 steps below using fake testimonials in my opinion, but just my thoughts...

    • Thats what Im trying to do "get the ball rolling" by posting GOOD comments not Spam like some of you where calling it haha. I also am not putting any links in the comments.

  • Thanks for the tips.
  • Making fake comments is in the grey zone.

Lets say you have a post with a list of 20 good image websites.
Make a comment in a different name that adds one more to the list wont do any harm.

Do a search on google Maybe you are writing in a way that don't engage people enough.

  • Wait a minute, you want to comment on your own site in hopes of higher SERP rankings???? Or are you looking to increase user participation on your own site??

Please tell me it's the latter, because the way your OP is worded...
