Cool Twitter Tip Ties in with Google Trends!

Hello fellow warriors,

Here's a neat little marketing trick for you. I'm assuming you use Twitter and know about Google Trends.

First, take a look at Google trends and see if you can tie in what you offer to any of the top 10 trends. For example, I just sent out a Tweet that reads:

Did you know?... It's OK to play piano on Passover. Free piano lesson and book at

I sent this because the word 'Passover' is now (as of this post anyway) #1 on Google Trends.

Now, here's the beauty part ... the tweets that include any of the top 10 Google Trends show up in Real Time results in Google Search. You'll get a lot more twang on your tweets using this method.

  • Yes this is a very good method. I believe that on Twitter there are also lists of the most popular hashtags at the time like #libya or something

    You can do the same with a Facebook page, it will show up in the Google live search.
