Domain forwarding & Page rank?

If you take a domain name and forward it (with masking) to a domain that has a certain page rank, will the forwarded domain automatically assume that page rank?:confused:

I bought a few domains, one of which is a pr 3 site. Another of the domains which had been forwarded to the pr3 site also comes up as pr3. Is this why?

Hi Bondtana,

Google does not assign PageRank to domains. PageRank is assigned to individual URLs. The Toolbar PageRank you are seeing is the PageRank of the landing page, not the referring page.
