Adsense - Question on ads being displayed

I have a blog about freestuff on my domain mommyenterprises.com.

The blog is located at: Mom’s Freebies, Sweeps & Bargains

If you see the Adsense ads, they are generally work at home related ads which go with the main theme of my site.

I look at other "freebie blogs" and they have free offers and such in their ads which would get more clicks on my page.

Any suggestions on how I get Adsense to display different ads then what it is displaying?

  • Your title says "Jobs for stay at home moms". What do you think that tells the Google Adsense 'bot?

Most of your incoming links are anchored on "WAHM", "Make money from home", "Work At Home Mom", etc. What do you think that makes the Adsense bot think your site is about?

Most of your content is about "work at home". Once again, what's the Adsense bot supposed to think?

Start changing these things to make the 'bot see your site differently.
  • Most of my site is work at home related. I just wanted to change the ads that are displaying on this particular blog on my site. This blog does not have links that say work from home.

    • You can try Section Targeting to indicate the parts of your content that you want the 'bot to take into account when determining the ads.

For this to work and not get you in trouble you'll need to have at least 300 words in the block and the block has to be the obvious primary content for the page.
