Adding Adsense Code Will Decrease My Rank?

Hello Warriors,

I have a website with many pages rank on the first page of my targeted keywords and have about 1200 unique visitors, 2000 to 3000 page views per day.

I was using CPA to monetize it but the result is not very good, so last night I added adsense to every webpage of my site.

To my surprise, I found that almost all my page one webpages are gone and today till now 3 pm East time, I only get 115 unique visitors and 240 page views.

What's wrong with my site? Is it because I edit my website and add adsense code to it?

  • It's not AdSense. And we can't say what it could be w/out seeing your site.
  • I just did some search on google and noticed that many other people had met this situation before.

    Although many people said adding adsense code will NOT affect website's ranking, I only believe the fact. And the fact is: as many other website owners, my SEO ranking and traffic dropped a lot just after adding adsense code to my website!!!



    I will delete all the adsense code from my site and hope that I can rank on the first page again. What a big mistake I made!!
