Remember to sign Out of Your Google Account

If you're checking your rankings for certain keywords, make sure you sign out of your Google account first. Google gives you results tailored to what they think you want to see when you're signed into your account. For example, I was just searching for a key word that my sales page ranks for.

I saw I was in position #4 on page 1 for it. YeeHaa!! I was psyched. My seo efforts were effective even faster than I thought. Then I remembered to sign out of Google. Upon rechecking, I was on page 4, not position 4. Oh, well I'm still moving up, just not as fast as I first thought.

  • Yeah I know

There is a way of turning it off so you don't have to log out everytime you check your serps but I don't know how to do it.

Does anyone know how to do it?

  • Lol~ It's not only related to the Google account, but also related to the Google Tool Bar. If you use one browser check some keywords and click in some website often, Google will give the website a good rank when you check that keyword on your browser(which installed Google Tool Bar), it's called memory sreach.
