Backlink Indexer Tools. Why Use Them? (Newbie Question, I Know!)

OP was focused on indexing pages that have their BACKLINKS on them - not their website or $$$ pages. Social Bookmarking and inging for me was an awesome exercise in futility ... but thats me.

We did a pretty detailed test on building links on PR 8 high traffic'd domains and subdomains of a popular web 2.0 social platform and a large private wordpress blog network [ 400+ IP's and domains ]

we took 4 sets of controlled link url sets ...

These we used our indexation process:

150 - web 2 profiles links on a community platform. In content anchor texts in the profile bio.
150 - wordpress blog posts spun to 30+%

These we did NOT index:

There's pictures of graphs on my website about what the results were.


Then we used scrapebox to find out what got indexed by google naturally and what got indexed using our process. We checked googles index and cache index for our tests.

Google is a DATABASE ... database programmers know that the power and knowledge that a database gives - is based upon the DATA IN ITS INDEX or datastore/tables.

Google uses bots/crawlers to collect data and intelligently store it in its database... in order to later display this information to searchers in an intelligent fashion.

None of us can for sure tell anyone how googles algo and systems WORK definatively ... BUT there are things we do know as factual and can apply some logic , reason and common sense - gleaned from testing and analysis.

1. Google has 3 portions [ maybe more ] to its index they show us.

- non cached search index
- cached index
- supplemental index [ stuff it deems as duplicate or overly redundant ]

2. Backlinks help move your pages up the serps

3. Google is a massive database and works on many of the same if not all of the same as principals of most other DATABASES.

4. Google keeps track of and stores info about your sites and pages backlink profile.

All that said ... it appears - after testing and becoming familiar with google's search results - that they seem to put pages of MOST importance to THEM .. in their cached index. If they deem the page to have < importance - they dont seem to bother to CACHE it [ like a database app does for its most important info in the database - that it feels it will need to retrieve and present regularly and QUICKLY ]

With indexing, our goal is to make sure Google :

1. Knows about our backlinks
2. Deems the pages they reside on and the links there as "important"
3. Gives us "credit" for the link - thus hopefully increasing our serps.

Many will argue - google credits you for ANY link its bot crawls over ... but there is NO known study or tests Ive seen to indicate that is SEO LAW... yet. Im open to learn more there.

Im of that position that - the best we can hope to KNOW that our links are :

1. Known By Google
2. Deemed to be on pages that are "important"
3. Credited to our site as serp beneficial

Is to get the pages our links reside on ... into Googles cached index. Is this a guarantee that youre getting 1-3 above? Can I definitively prove #3 is happening?

I believe the Energization process accomplishes 1 and 2 pretty solidly. No one I can see can accomplish #3 with much proveability - yet. I believe the process I engage in to index links puts my backlinks in the "best possible position we can know" - to accomplish the holy grail ... #3.
