Forum Profiles Work

I had a website for a few months hanging around position 350 (on page 35 of Google) for a few months. I tried building my own backlinks, but I really HATE it.

Finally, I purchased a package from someone on this forum (probably shouldn't mention names here?).

Within 3 weeks, I was in the middle of page 3 of Google. Of course get no traffic from page three, but I still consider the results spectacular. Within another 2 weeks I moved to position 18 for my very profitable keywords. Still only an occasional visit from a Google search of my keyword. I've stayed in that position for several weeks now, so I just put in an order for another blast of profile links. As far as I can tell, they work great. I don't want to try blog comments, because I hate the spam comments on my site, so i won't do it to others. Still, I love the service I got and know profile links work for me!

  • If you bought it via a WSO or "Warrior for Hire" ad, you should go post this under that thread as a positive review
  • Glad to hear that.

Did you just fill in your profile details and that was all or you went ahead to comment on the forums?

    • Wait you mean these package things actually work??? I bought something a long time ago from an autosurf place promising traffic and it didn't work so after that I was wary of buying anything SEO/traffic related. I have a very over-saturated/competitive keyword that if I could dominate at, I could quit my crappy part-time job lol So maybe if the price is right I will have to give this a shot, because after awhile finding blogs to comment on and submitting to directories can just old, and if I can just pay someone to do that for me.... ::goes to search warrior sales place here...::

  • I was excited by hearing, If you make link in relevant forum than absolutely it is more worth full.
  • Thanks Carl and 4more, I went and checked out the for sale thread and already found a package I think will work for me right at the top of the thread I asked this in the thread I was interested in buying from but I guess 2 opinions can't hurt, right? I was wondering for a new site less than 2 weeks old, trying not to get sandboxed, which link package (260 backlinks, or edu/gov links, or pyramid links (never done this one before) do you think would work the best for the site in my sig? Thanks everyone for helping out a noob!!!

    • Nice looking site. Could be onto a winner with that if you keep plugging away. Just keep firing the links at it. Mix up some link pyramids, .edu links and some decent social bookmarking stuff and you'll be on your way.
  • @Chris When a War Room member tells me I have a nice looking site and that it could be a winner, that makes me want to work harder! I'm thinking of joining the War Room if I can start making some money off the site I have, I think it would be a good investment. I'm a noob in the sense that I feel I have all the knowledge about SEO and backlinking etc to be successful, I just haven't been able to put it all together, and there seems to be one piece I'm missing somewhere. That's why I was thinking of just trying a package out to see if it works for me...thanks for the advice about which ones to choose, I was actually leaning more towards the pyramid and edu links, so you confirming that makes me feel better going that direction. And I social bookmark the heck out of it and it hasn't seemed to help (yet) (twitter, facebook, stumble, reddit, and tumblr). I'm really hoping since I've become active in this forum that I will gather the rest of the info I need to be successful, I have the motivation and am semi-knowledgeable, now I just need the rest!!!!
  • Google will bump you up a little bit when you're new, if you get some recognition from social bookmarks and articles, etc.. You'll slow down, and after about 6 months, you'll start moving up again. Backlinks are the building blocks for SEO. Understand, if your site is 1 month old, and you're involved in a competitive niche full of 5 year old sites; then you're likely to have a hard time. At some point, buying large amounts of backlinks may get you penalized in some way.
  • No doubt they do work!
  • Interesting you made this post today. I actually did a test on forum links and made a post on my blog discussing the results.

SEO Passive Income: Do Profile Links Boost Your Google Rankings?

But yes, forum profile links work and work very well.
  • I would think the odds are hight that legit forum owners will put into play systems that eliminate forum profile spammers sooner rather than later. There are plenty of forums out there now that are over run by the spammers that look like a dogs breakfast, so maybe thats where they will end up, and maybe even cheap / free forums created for this exact purpose by the peddlers of this service type ?
  • What exactly does the profile links refer to here? You mean the social media profiles, forum profiles etc?
  • Just remember link diversity! Don't just focus on profile links
  • yes every backlink works it will help you get higher ranked in google.
  • Yes, buying links on WSO or Fiverr or "Warriors for hire" is definitely a good way of boosting your serps, but don't forget to index those links. I had a hard time with my serps before learning about indexing them!
  • Link diversity is matters a lot,When you got a serp increase build links continuosly to outrank the competitors all time
  • I also think they work. But not all of them for sure. Buy it from reliable service nad judge the quality. Surely forum profile works.
  • I'm not trying to be that guy, but your story really doesn't tell us much as we have no idea of what competition that keyword has or how many searches it receives each month.

Only then can one really make up their mind.
  • I am also doing from profile method it is the good method to optimize your site.
