Do you care about keyword density?
- SEO |
I was just curious - I have been playing around with the keyword density idea for quite some time and can't really find a solid conclusion.
Like Allan Says, says... "testing is the only guru".
The only problem is that it's not very "scientific" and the results could be for any number of reasons. I hear a lot about people saying 4-5% is good - but is it just me, or is 4% tough as nails to get in without sounding moronic and like you're obviously shoving your keyword in any way possible?
I do have a few "workarounds" like using the keywords in a list that's broken up over an article which can get it in there at least 4-5 more times.
I've just started writing a mix between natural sounding content, and content that's a little more "forced" for good measure... until I get to the bottom of this.
I am no SEO expert, although a few months back I decided to take the plunge (and if you haven't yourself, do it ASAP - it's a very important skill).
It's not rocket science although it seems like it at times.
Getting back on topic - does anyone have a solid conclusion for this (with case studies or experience if possible?). Don't just parrot what somebody else said! Results are what matter.
Thanks for any help!
