You can also find the most popular blogs here:
    Top 100 Blogs - 1 to 25 - Technorati

And of course, most of them have very high PR as well.

Scrapebox, easily. Learn the footprints and you'll have a flood of high PR blogs. Just takes a lot of time to harvest and sort through them. (Still a lot quicker than manually doing it, though.)

Just type "blog search" in Google search bar. After that, you can specify what kind of blog are you looking for.

Scrapebox is great tool!If you can afford it i recommend it also! But if you'd want to do this without scrapebox you'd need a few Firefox plugins and you'll be good to go!!
    Here is a Great List:
    1. Nofollow Dofollow Plugin
    2. Multilinks (THIS IS THE BEST PLUGIN in the world for firefox Linkbuilders)
    3. Any Google Serps PR checking tool.

Once you have those plugins good to go.. you'll need to start building your Search queries::: Here's some free ones ! just drop them in google with your Google Serps Pagerank checker plugin installed you can see the pr for that page!
    SEARCH QUERIES:
    - Records Per Page 20
    - "You made some Good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree."
    -"Powered by Drupal" +Keyword
    -"Powered by Wordpress" +keyword
    -inurl:index.php?disp=comments
    -inurl:Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?List=
    -inurl:talkback/ inurl:/discussionitem_view "Guestbook"
-You can use these tags: <a href="" title="">
    -"new comment" "powered by drupal"
    -"Submit Response" "Cancel" "Dialog List"
    -"Comments:" "powered by b2evolution"
    -"0 topical, 0 editorial, 0 hidden"

This is from my own collection ! Hope it helps and gives you great ideas!
