My link building strategy - should I sell it as a service?

Hi all. For any of you that are interested. This is what I regularly do to build a variety of links to my site. I currntly use the following on my own sites which works well for me.

1. I create a new article of around 500 words with two keywords and two links.
2. I upload the article to my site.
3. I then spin the article to around 40% to 60% uniqueness
4. I submit the spun article to around 1000 directories( I normally get 200 or so instant links and another 40% - 50% get accepted within 3 to 4 weeks)
5. I submit the article to seolinkvine blog network
6. I submit the article to article ranks blog network.
7. I then book mark my main site with 250 pligg sites.

I find that over a period of 30 days a lot of the links get indexed and are good as they come from lots of diferrent ips.

I dont do any fancy link networks or piramids or link wheels. Just straight links to my site. I like to keep it simple where possible.

I was thinking if it's worth While offering this as a service. Maybe charging. $25 to $35 for the above. Be interested to see what you think and if this is worth while and cost affecting option to offer?

Cheers steve

    Why trade time for money?

If you have a system that works then IMHO you should spend your time using it to build your business instead of hiring yourself out to build other peoples businesses.

Time spend on building your own web properties can give you years of passive income but if you spend the time building for someone else you get a quick $25 and then you have to do more work for someone else to make another $25.

So, unless you really need the money I would think your time would be better spent on building the links to your own websites.

That being said, your price seems pretty good for the work!

Totally and absolutely agree with cashcow, when you trade time for money you will be earning a linear income, 1 hour for $25, 2 hours = $50 ... ! I am in this business for the passive income, where you do not actively sell your time for money. Continue building more sites to reach your critical mass.

If immediate cash flow is what you are after, build sites and flip them for a premium.

      Regards

How is the result for ranking your new site?

Cashcow - I agree and my main focus is building my passive income. However my wife is keen to try something as she recently lost her job. so this gives her the opportunity to earn a few extra $$ with the subscriptions and tools I am already paying for.

Cigar2010 - it really depends on the competition. many sites I own have hit no.1 Just using this technique. Other more competative niches need more work and more submissions. It all comes down to competition at the end of the day. But more diverse links will increase ranking for sure.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I mostly agree with what you are saying. However, I think testing a system first is important before iNvesting to much time and money in it.

As I said my wife would be using my methods to test and see how it sells. If we find it does really well, the I will certainly look at expanding.

This really an opportunity to offer a good service whilst my wife also learns and earns some extra cash.

    Thanks

Agree with Lee.. While you can offer it as a service, think about using your skills to build yourself an online empire. Think about whether you'll be able to cope with tons of orders if you get them simultaneously. While there is no harm in offering the service for instant or short term cash needs, you should focus on building your business for the long term,

Would this not just another string to add to my own I'm bow? I am a firm believer in multiple streams, I.e offline services, building my own saffiliate sites and also offering a service like link building.

I am not suggesting that I will stop all my I'm efforts for a quick buck. However in my opinion it's good to have revenue from multiple streams.

Yeah, multiple ways of making money is good!

If you have your wife do it then you can focus on building the passive and she can get her feet wet by making some quick money.

Perhaps you could even outsource the process then you can collect money for it and have the outsourcers do it. Of course, that all comes with a whole other bunch of headaches but it could be another way of making money.

Did you manually sign up to 1000 article directories and 250 pligg sites?

I know the answer I guess, but I'm wondering if people outsource all of that or whether there is software for that purpose or...?

Of Course sell this as a service!!!

Just try to keep the workload to a minimum. While your building backlinks to your site, at the same time you could be helping others!

End of the day it will make you money!

      Isn't that the whole point?.....

Rosegrower - I mainly use tools and have subscriptions to various services enabling me to mass distribute Articles and bookmarks.

Blend - absolutely. First I would like to test the waters...make sure that u deliver value to clients. Once I have the system perfected I will look to outsource.

Definitely an excellent and needed service. If I may also suggest, work on collecting statistics that can show the results of your work. If yours are particularly good, and I believe from what you say they would be, you can demand higher pay. I hope to god you aren't doing all that work by hand though, because it would thin your profits.
