Maybe a dumb Q: different adsense account for each site?

I have a dozen or so sites that are all inter-linked. Different content in the same niche on each one, and thoroughly cross-referenced.

Each site is on a different VPS with a different IP in a completely different class B or C range - I just happen to have lots of VPS accounts

Now...I want to setup AdSense and Analytics on these sites. Should I create 12 different Google Adsense/Analytics accounts (via different emails, etc)? Obviously, it'd be massively more convenient if I had the same Adsense/Analytics code on each site (look at one screen to see everything instead of 12 different logins), but of course I want to maximize my ranking/income.

Does Google look at AdSense/Analytics codes?

Yes, I realize Google owns Adsense and Analytics

  • You won't be able to unless you have 12 different legal names, addresses and social security numbers. You'd be taking the term split personalities to a whole new level.
  • I don't see how having separate Adsense/Analytics accounts will maximise your earnings.

Also, you will be running foul of Adsense terms and if they later discover, they will close all other accounts but 1, at the least.

    • OK, makes sense.

My thought was that Google would think, "hey here are 12 different sites, twelve different IPs, and they're all linked...oh wait it's the same adsense account on each, it's really just one guy, send him to the basement".
