No. 1 in Google US but no boost in traffic? What's the problem...
- SEO |
I noticed a couple of days ago that for the keyword "dog biting", I'm number one in Google US.
That was very good news and I was expecting hundreds of new visitors but the reality is just strange - I haven't noticed any boost in traffic. I'm a little bit confused because this keyword has 22,200 monthly searches and being on number one position, I should get at least a couple of thousand new visitors per month.
I understand that maybe title tags or description are not well optimized and that's why I don't see big boost, but HEY... this is number one spot and not seeing any new visitors doesn't make any sense. As I'm not from US, I can't see if I'm number one or not, but that's what Market Samurai and Rank Tracker says. Are they both lying? I don't think so, because using Firefox + Google Global I can see that number one spot is mine. So, what's the problem here? Have you guys experienced something like this?
Thanks a lot!
