Amazon product page linking?

I used the Amazon tool to link keywords within the post content to product pages. Not the single page but to the category.

My click through nearly ceased to exist so I followed one of the links and even though I can see my ID in the source code, I can't see it transferring in the browser to Amazon.

How would I manually create category page links and search links to make sure the ID gets transferred in the process?

I went from getting close to 100 clicks a day to amazon to 1...I would say something wrong, especially if my traffic increased during that time. And I got quite a few clicks that day on my incontext links through infolinks.

Not 100% sure what you mean.. Did you use the "link to any page" tool on Amazon?

      Yes.

I used the link to any page and used the link code on keyword phrases within the post content to point to that page. The tool validates the link(the ones I tested) but when I look in the browser bar after following the link to amazon, I do not see my affiliate ID anywhere.

And, it confirms that something is wrong when my click thru goes from 100+ a day to exactly 1 in the same time period even when the sites traffic went up.

Ugggghhhhh...I need yet another BC powder....lots of BC powers. lol

Sounds strange to me.. Have you tried running the links in their link checker?

You aren't supposed to see your tracking ID in the URL after you've arrived on Amazon btw. You could try installing the Live HTTP Headers add-on in Firefox and "trace" the browser requests manually and see if you notice anything strange there.
