Hello All,
My website was ranked under top 10 for few movie terms but last week it just went down and right now it's nowhere in top 500. I really don't understand what happened to my website. Please suggest
Thank you

Kim

Did you check the quality of your site's link and content? because these factors are extremely affecting the Google ranking.

Tons and tons of ranking changes, for at least 500 sites that I have specifically noticed. I think the data centers are just updating or something.. We'll see. Nothing to be worried about really.

Yeah, a bunch of my sites have all dropped in their rankings over the past week (and I'm talking like 50 sites), and some really fell hard today. Right now I'm getting one-third of the traffic I'd normally get, but hopefully it's just another algorithm hiccup.

Google's shock and awe Panda campaign is going on full swing right now, and hasn't stopped since April.

Just out of curiosity, I've been observing an autoblog that was well disguised (and appears "quality" for an autoblog) since it was long ranked #1 for its keyword, has now dropped all the way to page 2. I'm keeping a watch on it out of curiosity, to see if it returns.

If it doesn't return, it's one indication Google's algos are changing on an ongoing basis, and maybe this is THE new algo. I've never seen Google this way before, but some SERPs are changing many times a day now!

Actually, now that I think of it, my decreased rankings might be do to something I did. The 2 days prior to my decreased rankings, I gathered all the links I had built to all of my sites with Article Marketing Robot and ran them through Linklicious, which pinged them all and created RSS feeds of them all, then pinged those feeds too. So I think the dancing among all of my sites is because of that. Does that sounds likely?

Gosh, some of us can be so dramatic. It's not new news that google is always tweaking it's algo. Should you panic? no. Just keep up to date with things and adjust.

I think you must check out your content and backlinks once again. It will be better if you opt for the quality backlinks.

Check your backlinks from other sites. If there are spammy or link farming sites with links to you, contact them and ask to remove.

I've been working on a FAQ for this exact problem (it gets asked here 10 times a day). Check out http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...deindexed.html

seriously dude.. how many times you going to post that?

Interestingly enough, 2 of my very strong performing autoblogs went to about 1/3 traffic yesterday. Didn't affect them all though... but normally was getting 1200 visitors a day on each and now getting right at 400 on each. Happened right after 10am CT time yesterday.

Sometimes Google goes with ups and downs for certain sites. It ranks them well until the big G notices that the quality of those well ranked sites aren't really top notch so then it comes with the so called "google hammer" and drops their rankings.
Check if you have strong qualitative content on your site. Also, a very important aspect is to check if your backlinks come from reputable sites.

Almost all websites are experiencing the same thing. I think it has something to do with Google dance. But to make sure, check your website's content and links. Remember Google is very sensitive when it comes to the quality of your site's backlinks.
