So here's the deal. I have an established website with great rankings in Google. But when I first built the site, the articles I had written were not of the highest quality.. Now I would like to polish up the content and make it better, but I am worried about the effects it will have on my rankings.

Does anyone have some real life experience with this? As long as the content isn't modified too much should I be okay?
