Hello i was wondering when you get a link from these networks, such as BMR, Article ranks and all the other high pr ones. Do you actually get a link on a pr page or is the idea- your getting a link from a high quality pr blog?

  • If you create unique article to related to your sites their must be good thing for your sites
  • Yes a unique article helps a lot but I am wondering to you ever get your article on a page with actual Page Rank ever with these networks?

    • don't chase PR. I know it's hard to ignore in the beginning because people relate PR with success rank and authority. Posted good article and drop a relevant link and let that be the end of it. The more you focus on PR the more time you are taking away from the factors that really matter such as page traffic page relevance site relevance link relevance
  • To answer your question, no you will not be put on a high pr page. Those pages are usually up front and for other things. What you can do to boost up the page that you get put on is build you some links to it as well from other sources so that you can make the page a little better.
  • The links that you shall get will have high domain PR but the PR of the page on which your post will land up is N/A, and then eventually it may gain some PR.

The strategy though is very effective, so if you want then just go for it. Remember, a links from a high-PR domain is a link from a trusted domain in a way, so it counts a lot.

  • If a high PR blog posts your article on the home page, you will initially get good PR. But of course, once the article leaves the home page, the PR leaves as well.

I agree with Fred. Although the page won't be that high PR, the domain is still referencing your site. Which is a good thing. It's also a good idea to not be completely focussed on page rank. Google has said many times that page rank is only one variable in their gigantic ALGO.
