Hey, I'm Abbas and.....

I've been focusing on SEO this month for my blog(Forum Marketing For Dummies), and want to share an important and necessary recipe for SEO success that I've been using.

I want to share to you today, what I believe to be a complete ON PAGE SEO strategy that will help anyone progress towards acheieving first rank on the Google search engine. I've studied these techniques of which I am about to share with you today, from multiple top level internet marketing gurus on the web!

Here are some important and necessary search engine optimization tips, in order to increase search engine rankings on Google!

Here is YOUR SEO Cheat Sheet!

1) Place Main Keywords In Domain Name

2) Main Keywords Placed In Home Title Tag 2 Times

3) Main Keywords Placed In H1, H2, H3 Tags

4) Inlcude Main Keywords In Beggining Of First Sentence Of Each Paragraph

5) Inlcude Main Keywords In Last Sentence Of Each Paragrapsh

6) Keyword Density Of 3% Of Entire Post

7) Use Main Keywords On Site As Anchor Text Linking To Another Internal Page Of Website In Each Post

8) Use Main Keywords As Anchor Text Linking To An Authority Site. Use A No Follow Tag.

9) Remove Every Other Link On Your Website Besides Affiliate Products And Links Mentioned Above.

10) Bold, Italicise, Or Underline Main Keyword Once In Each Of Your Posts.

11) Add An "alt" Tag With Main Keyword Included In Each Image.

12) Optimize Names Of Each Image On All Posts

13) Create 850-1,000 Word Posts.

Please be sure to note that these SEO tips are ON PAGE SEO strategies; and that key ingredients to first page rankings on Google also require Off Page SEO, which includes high quality link building.

  • Same old stuff over and over.

the "Proof" is in the results.

the only people that truly know about thinks like link density, anchor text, proximity, etc are the people that write the algorithums.

What is your "Cheat Sheet" is wrong? Then what?

@InternetMarketingIQ - Not very encouraging for noobs out there. The point is to start!

I've been at a place where I didn't know where to find the right answers. Who is right and who is wrong? Can I trust this information or not?

I can help you decide. Learn from the pro's and top internet marketing experts. See who are the top people in you industry and follow their example.

1)Where do you start when you have no experience? The Point Is To Start & Experiment.

      2) How can you trust this information? Google can help! Google helps you find people who are at the top of your industry! It places the highest quality of links at the top rankings for each keyword or phrases. Do some background research and you will know who you can trust, and who you cannot!

      3) When you learn the fundamentals of marketing, I believe you will be able to point out whether someone is spreading true knowledge or just falsehood; you can be able to pick up knowledge and share it with others as fact. It is your spirit that shows people whether you are one to trust, or not. But you do need a little background marketing knowledge to start!

So I advise you to just START! Pretty soon, you will be able to pick up quite easier what information you should follow/not follow! Just As Did GeorgR.

If you can't trust a person, follow someone you CAN trust! Also, if you want to trust a person, youve got to follow them and decide for yourself! But never discourage people from sharing valuable information such as these! Whether basic or not, it may help many newbies!

      Good luck!

I don't think the things listed by journey7 are wrong at all. They are the fundamentals. In baseball you "throw the ball, catch the ball, and hit the ball" and this list is a corollary.

My question would be, "Where would you be ranked if you did not follow these fundamentals or any others?" You have to start with the basics, and this list is as good as any other.

Newbies only, huh? Tell you what, Advanced Master Drac: Use all of your magic potions and spells, but take out all those things he mentioned in the OP, and how far do you think your 'advanced tactics' will take you? Just like Donhx said above, not very far.

True, there are many other things you can do, but the OP's list is solid advice for newbs or advanced users.

Where's your list of 'advanced tactics' for everyone's perusal? I didn't see those in your post. Just a smart-a@@ comment that was not worth posting, unless it's to boost your post count.

I don't know If OP jacked some WSO?

I can tell you, I would be pissed If I paid anything over $1 dollar for a list like that. I mean really, look at #13 (Create 850-1,000 Word Posts), that's just nonsense.

Why do you guys insist on making comments like these, but then not educate the masses with your wisdom?

If this list is wrong, please correct it here (with facts to back it up, please) so everyone can learn something. Otherwise, comments like these are absolutely useless.

You just said yourself you don't know if it's a jacked WSO, so that's a useless repetition of the 2 posts before. Take that out.

This isn't a WSO here, and you didn't pay a thing for it, so this is useless, as well. Take that out.

Great. Now we're getting somewhere. You're saying this is nonsense. Okay, then.

So how many words should a 'perfect' post be?

Care to enlighten the rest of us? Any other 'wrong' facts in the OP you could clear up?

I can tell you this, for sure: The OP had a LOT more valuable info in it than yours. Thanks for all your valuable input, SEO Extraordinaire.

Yes, I've noticed these techniques from major top marketing gurus on the web!
I believe one of the above tips was also mentioned by Darren Of Problogger, who advised to create link clusters in your website; basically, link clusters are anchor texted keywords that lead to internal pages of your website.

As far as I'm concerned, I highly doubt these tips will actually DAMAGE someones SEO. Since the alogorhytms(however you spell it) are always changing, I believe we should listen to those who hold a respectable say in our industry.

I've been implementing this technique the last few days.

My page rank boosted on first page last place to first page seventh place!

This is very good advice. I will continue to do so and am eager to report again in the upcoming days.

Once my SEO is 100% in accordance to the technique above, I hope to report again!

    Till then, cheers!

"In a few days"? Your page wouldn't re-index to show your changes for a few days, but that's great if it did.

Can never go wrong with good solid fundamental on-page SEO.

Ok, so I started to implement these techniques above and about a day or so later, I ranked 2-3 spots higher on first page of Google.

Another hard day of optimizing and the next few days I found myself ranked #2 on FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE!

You guys got to implement this technique and see how it boosts your rankings.

There is a "catch" thought. It takes time and consistency. Try to optimize one post a day! This HAS WORKED FOR ME! I'm SURE IT WILL FOR YOU! Just try it! Trust me!

Guys, I'm ranking 1st page #2 On Google.

Need to beat "about.com" which is at first rank; its an authority site, so naturally, hard to beat!

I think with age my rankings can beat about.com. I am going to mention the techniques I share with you all. Going to keep implementing until I am 100%. Well, thats my goal.

Am I allowed to create a PDF file of these bullet points you shared and provide a free link to it? No opt-in or anything, just think it will be extremely helpful for those who are still new to on-page SEO. I know many of the points are debated but there are a lot of us who can use a quick reference guide like this.

EDIT: Actually just PM me if you want it, no catches or opt-ins. Just willing to share a resource.

Nice tips, I rather like to think of a page as a shop, and on-page SEO as directions for the aisles and various products the shop has to offer, and off-page SEO as generating traffic i.e. customers to the shop, once you have the shop ready, then you can send customers/traffic to it

I use the exact template on most of my sites and it works. Most of the content are 800 words and above and they rank pretty well on serps.

Bottom-line: focus on the basics, sometimes it's the fundamentals that make or break your ranking.

A great on page advice for beginners.

But there a quite a lot thing to do with a site in-case of on page optimization.

I wouldn't call it a cheat sheet. but its great stuff to get started for beginners. Oh and all those so called "SEO experts", if you're willing to differ, i'd suggest you to come up with some facts to support yourself rather than whining about ... oh whatever!!!

The majority of the cheat sheet is now out of date and if you follow this guide you will get some kind of penalty.

    Keyword in 1 H tag
    Density between 1-1.5%
You should link out to other releant sites where possible (i dare you to link to your top 10 competitors, you'll be amazed )
Do not bold, underline, italic your keyword
Do not include an alt tag with your keyword
Do not use an image that is named your-keyword.jpg

Also if your keyword is 'blue widget guide' you can write something like 'if your looking for a guide about blue widgets' to get the same effect. I see an awful lot of pages ranking now when the exact keyword is not mentioned once on the entire page but the individual words and the overall topic of the page are.
