Hey guys I've been building more and more backlinks to my site trying to get to number one on google, im not talking big numbers, more like 10 a day.

But now im getting sick and tired of it so I go looking for a place to buy them from, I buy 30 from anegla for 5 dollars then spend the time to use them, or I can buy 2000 for 35 dollars and they do it for me.

So what I want to do is throw some money at the whole situation and see where that gets me, I wanna buy the 2000 but I've heard when you get into the thousands when it comes to backlinks your asking for trouble with googe.

So my questions is can I safely buy those backlinks and no worry that its gonna hurt me more then help me?

thanks guys

If your site is new then you'll probably dance around for a bit and disappear for a few days or so but you'll end up coming back stronger as the links start getting indexed. Get as many as you can.

Most people who buy huge blasts don't do it directly to their main page until it is quite established (even then be sure not to ping the links so they are indexed in a sort of trickling in fashion).

The appropriate method is to create other things such as web 2.0 properties or articles and blast those so pretty soon you have a huge number of pages linking only to you that are now authority pages. its also good because you can rank your properties or articles for various long term keywords.

However, 2000 is not really that many links, you may drop for a little while but its not going to get you sandboxed or deinxed, you will come back from it if it does end up being too much.

Since you referred to Angela's backlinks, I'm guessing the 2k backlinks are forum profiles? Is there any chance they could spread those out? Doing 2k links in one day, followed by nothing, may look a little suspicious.

It generally won't hurt you to hit a lot of backlinks at it. If you are doing forum profiles it is best to not ping them all, just let them sit.

If you are doing blog comments, I suggest the same thing...don't ping them.

You can also try adding some depth to the links by using a backlink pyramid or by building a free blog somewhere that points to your main URL and then blasting tons of links at the blog.

Create average link daily i.e. if create randomly link than your site will drop down in SERP's and second thing quality link building is better than quantity.

    Hey Luke,

To many bad quality profile links can hurt your site. If you sort through them and pick the sites with pr then you will get some good link juice out of them. You could also outsource it to a freelancer.

The more backlinks you can get, the better. They will not harm your site. If backlinks could harm a site, then it would be so easy to knock our competitors out of the #1 spot on Google.

Yes, backlinks are good, but I think he has it right by doing roughly 10 a day.

Dont give up so soon just because it is tedious. By doing 10 a day, you are slowly gaining the respect of google. And make sure the 10 you do are high PR sites.

If you do this for a month or two, you will see BIG results.

Dont get discouraged. Really, doing 10 a day is not too much....

If you are going to resort to black hat techniques - then you will not succeed long term. Eventually your site will lose its ranking.

Focus on white hat if you want to stay in the game long term.

Best links are contextual links from relevant authority sites. These are the hardest to get but are also the best. You only need several hundred of these to dominate the SERP's.

Some days I build over 50,000 links to my domains, so 5 per day is not too much. BTW, I think you mean "too" in your title.

just build satellite sites and blast your thousand links there.

For example create 20 web 2.0 links contextual links and build thousand of link pointing to those pages.

I will warn you again not to get too comfortable "blasting" anything.

SEO is very complicated and must be done cautiously to avoid being black-listed.

There is good advice in here, but for what you want you may want to look around for more long-term strategies for success.

Backlinks are all about quality. It does matter. The site that is linking to you is just as important as the link.

I am very leary of buying backlinks, especially in quantity.

It is also important to note that getting 2,000 links has so many factors around it. You may want to study up on it more while you are getting backlinks.

A very important aspect of link building is the rate at which links are created MUST NEVER stop. so if you buy 200, or 20,000 backlinks today, you better plan on doing again, and again, and again.

Your goal is not only to keep the pace of links growing, but to speed up link building to a rate no competitor is even close to your link building speed. YOU MUST KEEP THIS GOING....

Your off page linking structure should not only link the home page, but you need to deep link the site pages also. I try to put 50 % of my links to the front page and the other half to internal pages that are already optimized for target keywords. I have heard discussion of this ratio being more like 70/30 but from my experience in researching how and why websites rank I can attest that 50/50 seems to rank higher than a site that has a lower ratio. this is gold nugget I have only shared with my inner circle ENJOY

One final point worth mentioning as ARTTSE stated, contextual links from authority sites are the best links you can get. Especially if the links are from .edu or .gov sites. Simply stated you want your links to come from the context area or blog post area and you want the keywords that are being used to link back to the site to have targeted keyword rich anchor text ( which needs to vary also...

DO not use the same keyword for every back link - use supporting keywords and add words like: review, about, learn about, a, the.... This will make the structure look more natural to Google.

Page Rank does make a difference a BIG difference...

Make a plan and stick to it. Make a chart and create a plan to get more links each week. You need to hit the target.

SO you have two choices either build em or buy em. Just be CAREFUL and when you find something that works stick to it until you figure out a better way. Keep improving you will get there.

Ditto to Jeremy S - ABOVE

I would like to suggest Just go through the manual methods of adding back links for your site. Buying back links may hurt your site ranking and Google may slap also for this.
