is there a way to find out the performance on my sites .. I'm quite new to this seo thing and i want to know the progress i guess of how my sites are doing ...

hope this makes since .. and any feedback is well appreciated

  • Try google analytics. Shows some stats like number of visitors, unique visitors, page views/visit, ect.

    If your site is self hosted (hostgator, etc...), look at your server logs.
  • For updates on your site's statistics you can try Google Analytics. For you to check your rankings on different search engines you can use Rank Tracker and to check your backlinks you can have SEOMoz/MozBar.

      Isn't that in the cpanel of hostgator right ? Does it provide you
      with pertinent info like which keyword is ranking well and so forth ?
