Best Way to Get Targeted Real Human Traffic Not Bots

Hello Warriors,
Please advise me on the best place or way to get real targeted human traffic to my MLM website. I recently paid money for what I thought was real traffic and I received absolutely no hits or leads for my free offer at all. Yet I was getting 30 to 40 leads per day for the same offer from Craigslist until they shut me down. So there is no way they could have sent 4,000,000 visitors to my site and not even one person signed up. I was told today that they never sent human visitors just bots. I am too undone. Help!
