With noindex/nofollow you "hide" pages from being shown in search engine results (some SE don't respect it, but those most important do).

So I use it for example for "Thank you" pages, "terms and conditions" and so on.
For "admin" use secured acces with password.

    Best regards

With those, you should noindex any pages that you don't think you want anyone to see. Many times we only worry about the pages that are important like an admin page and such. Any page that you think will not help your visitors if it comes up in a search is a page that I would no index. Odds are you don't have many, but I am sure we all have a couple we would want hidden from the search engines.

From time to time, and while making your website you may add new HTML pages to your site which may contain short texts or maybe a few images which apparently are just temporarily displayed on people's browsing panels and those files may not seem very important to you in terms of getting accessed and indexed by search engines.

While surfing the net, you will find a lot of blogs containing these pages, sometimes tags sections or CSS related scripts pages might be considered as such platforms which although are very important but they may not need to get indexed.
