Hi,

I want to know like if i use a domain name with ".me", or ".asia" or other, will it affect search results, seo, etc..

if yes how much, like is it bad to have domains other than .com or .net or .org.

please explain in details, i am new to seo, IM.

    The domain extension shouldn't matter for SEO. You should choose depending on your target market. The main criteria is: what are people in your market used to? If people are used to type their country extension, go with that. If something else, go with that something else. If it's more than one, buy all of them, pick one and redirect the rest to the one you picked.

    This is not an SEO question. Google seems to be ranking country TLDs higher in individual countries, but I don't think it's because of the TLD and there are many other factors that could contribute to this (e.g. hosting location, incoming links, language, etc.)

    Actually it depends on your target market.
    You may also get numerous landing pages with different TLDs and target keywords if you wish to target a wider audience from a very narrow niche.

    .com domain is mainly for Global results & other domain are local domains so it will give good ranking on the local search engines

      For a site that you want to make money from in the USA stick with .com, net, org or .co the rest I find don't rank as high.
