How to de indexed the URL's from Google search?

Hello friends,
I have a website in which I have made some changes in url's i.e I have build more SEF URL's . Now the problem is that the previous url's are also indexed in the Google. So when the user searches for the query those url also opens. I want that those url's should be de indexed from Google search..Is this possible please let me know if you have solution to this..

    You can deindex using the robot.txt in Web Master Tools if you have it.

    Otherwise (and this is what I would do) use a redirect from your old urL's to the new ones so that you won't loose out on the PR and traffic.

    Simple, do a 301 redirect from the already indexed page to the new page.

    A searcher will click on the old link in Google SERPs & land on the new page.

      Agreed - this is probably the best way to accomplish it, give it some time and the new URL's will start showing up once you do the 301. Plus you get the added benefit of any link juice from the old page being transferred to the new one.

      Technically, don't do a meta refresh - remove the old page completely and do the 301 in your .htaccess file.
