adsense-mature/adult content?

Does anyone know where google draws the line between something health related and something that is adult content? Like I see that there are websites on yeast infections that have adsense on them, so that is allowed.

The adwords tool shows the number of searches for things like "live sex" and "milfs" so I doubt thats a good way to distinguish what is allowed and not.

How can I figure out if my niche is okay to use? Also if google decided it was adult content would I risk a ban? or would they just tell me to remove the adsense code? Thanks.
#adsensemature or adult #content

A good rule of thumb is, if you wouldnt want an 8 year old to see it, don't put ads on it...hope this helps

So the point isn't whether the content is acceptable - but what the penalties might be if you are caught?

It's your site - you know whether it is "adult" content or not. And surely you understand a yeast infection is a health issue and isn't in any way considered sexy.

When you try to justify going just a little over the line with google - you put yourself at risk and there are no guarantees of what google might do.

Little people (me) have to err on the side of caution.
Obviously there are big sites that can and do cross the
        line.

Yeast infection sites would most certainly be able to
tweak the content to satisfy anyone. If the site was
deemed to be sex advice or an "adult" product, it
        probably would not pass.

IMHO, google does not have an army of people doing
manual reviews. But they have bots that seek and destroy
and are probably tweaked to guess at to the content. If
it appears to be "adult," the adsense may get shut down.

In fact, the yeast infection may be a perfect example of a
product or subject that a webmaster would think was mundane,
but then put a description or title that made the site seem
inappropriate for adsense. They would think that they are
SEOing the site, but not thinking about adsense TOS.

I can imagine the keywords one would target and emphasize
        for such a site.

I'm not trying to go over the line, simply find out where it is. I think the content is acceptable because it is a health concern, but different people have very different opinions about subjects like these. I'm sure some people would cover their children's eyes from reading the dirty word "penis" or "vagina," in any context.

Obviously the potential actions of adsense are of concern to me. I don't want to have my account banned because some bot looked over my site.
