What's your on-page SEO like? Have you built any backlinks?

Just follow the basics of SEO. On-page setup, with your keywords in title, header, description etc, and then high PR backlinks pointing back to your site.

Title and meta tags should contain targeted keywords of website/pages. Create a blog within the website if you can't add content on pages and update the blog on daily basis with original and related content. Build back links from different off page sources.

Go and register some domains and set up wordpress blogs on different ip's which are niche related and link to your main site within the blog posts.

Build more high PR backlinks to your site.

unless you're writing your own games and distributing them to other gaming sites it is not going to happen until your site has aged and you have a large following. Have you looked at the competition? You are going to need to do something unique in order to gain attention, like having some of your own games to distribute.

I have just looked at the number of backlinks to the sites you're competing with for the keyword Free Flash Games - one site on the first page (not even #1) has over 3m backlinks to that page.

For a keyword like this you are likely to need a lot of backlinks - are there any longer tail keywords you could target instead?

Otherwise - the best advice I can give is what others have already said: keep building high PR, in relevant content anchor text backlinks to your site and eventually it will rise up in the rankings.

A good way to get people to visit a site like this may be to develop an original and remarkable (see Seth Godin's definition of this) game that goes viral. Also, have you thought about using facebook apps/pages/etc. to get visitors?

Your onpage is Ok, since the keywords you are concentrating are highly competitive, try building more and more IBLs to your website. Building high quality links is the key.

Build high PR do follow back links and make sure on page all most done perfectly.

Around 5 months ago I performed an SEO campaign on my client's flash gaming website. Here are the things I did to get that site on the top of the google for the respective keywords:-

1. On page optimizations
Check whether all flashes have keywords in alt tags
Check for proper header, title tag and meta description tags

2. Off page optimization
The one thing that suddenly boost my client's website's ranking and traffic was the game submission I did for him.

To achieve a top ranking on Google for your chosen keyword(s), you must first learn how to optimize your webpage. This is the first, most important step to take towards landing on the first page of Google. Here is a checklist of things that you should always do to make sure that your page is fully optimized:

• Domain Name: the keyword(s) that your are targeting should be in your url.
• Home Title Tag: your main keyword should show up twice here, with a variation of that keyword (eg: lose weight and weight loss).
• H1, H2, & H3 Tags: these tags are very important(especially <H1>), and should always contain your keyword.
• Keyword Location Within Text: try to place each your keyword near the beginning of the first sentence of each paragraph (maintaining at least 100 words between paragraphs).
• Keyword Density: you should aim for a density of 3% for each keyword that you're targeting.
