Hi

I have a .com domain that is ranking well on google.com but nowhere on google.co.uk

I own both .com and .co.uk domains although the website sit's on the .com

Is there a good way of pointing the .co.uk domain to the website AND getting it ranked on google.co.uk?

Thanks

It would be better if you find a host located in the UK or server with UK IP address.. i'd be wary of replicating the site..have different content served for each of the locations..

Try to get backlinks from local domains i.e. .co.uk

Go to your Webmaster Tools Account (if you don't have one, get one)

Your Domain > Website-configuration > Settings >Geographic target "United Kingdom"

This setting is exactly for what you are trying to do.
I would simply 301 redirect the co.uk domain to your .com and let Google do the rest.

Agreed, this is prob the best thing to do. I did it quite a few times with sites of my own without the .co.uk extension.

Excellent advice - this is what I usually do. Google's Webmaster tools is useful for getting your site indexed too.
