How I get indexed and ranked on page 1 of Google in 5 minutes

If you're looking for fast, instant organic Google traffic try this.

I do this all the time and 8 times out of 10 I get ranked on page 1 of Google in around 5 minutes.

I'll explain this step-by-step so you can see exactly how I do it.

I start by going to the PRLog.org website (prlog.org) I like PRLog as you don't need to wait for your press release to be approved. They're all approved instantly.

Fill out your info and click on "Create Account".

Once you've registered an account and you've logged in, click on the "Submit Press Release" link.

You'll then get to see all the great features you get for free.

Click on "Next" at the bottom. Now you'll be asked to submit your press release.

Enter the keyword phrase you want to rank for as the headline (min 20 characters).

Note: Ideally you want to go for low competition long tail keyword phrases (more than 3 words) where there aren't any authority sites on the first page of Google.

If you use Google Instant you can easily find low competition long tail keywords. If when entering your phrase into Google you see sites such as Ezinearticles and other article sites or classified ad pages or Hubpages or Squidoo etc..then you shouldn't have any problem ranking.

Enter the image text and then click "Next". Then enter your press release summary, body text (make sure you include a link to your website!) and choose an appropriate category. You can enter upto 3 categories.

Next to "Issued By" enter your name or company and enter your email below. You also have the option to upload an image.

You can also enter additional information such as tags, company profile etc.

At the bottom of the page click on "Go To Final Step".

You can now preview your press release. If you need to change anything click "Modify Press Release".

If you're happy with it click on "Submit".

Now, here's the exciting bit.

Go to Google and type in your keyword phrase. Refresh the results every few minutes and you'll see your press release appear in the top 10.

I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a PRLog press release to be indexed and ranked on the first page. Sometimes you'll find your press release ranking on Google's first page in as little as 2 minutes. Most are indexed AND ranked in 5 minutes on the 1st page.

PRLog press releases are also shown in Google News too which can bring you some good traffic.

This works great for ranking local search terms too. Many times I've ranked in the top 3 in Google in minutes for local keywords.

This is to get your press release ranked, not your website but you can place a link in the press release to your site.

I counted over 10 "I'll try its" and one "I tried it" in this thread. This is typical. Trial and error is necessary when Google won't give you the answer:confused:. I always try and learn my lessons the hard way.

I just tried it just now, and the press release reached page 7 for our URL, which is not a highly competitive phrase. It appeared in about 15 minutes. This experiment was done after we had already released the news a few days previously, with similar results(pg 7). The more cometitive keywords didn't reach the first 10 pages.

This proves that high-pr links like prlog are valuable, and that duplicate content is ok- even post-Panda. It also proves there are no get-rich-quick alternatives to the steady, consistent approach- you may get top 5 results occasionally, but not every time. Therefore, a variety of approaches, consistently applied, is the only answer to long term results. Link diversity is essential. I'll update y'all if the rankings climb or fall rapidly.

Shoot me a thanks if this helped. Thanks

Add a few paragraphs then you'll be able to add a live link within your press release.

They also provide you with a list of incoming search terms which is very helpful.

      Mark,

Question: are talking about actual website link or the submission link that goes up to Google front page?
The press release gets indexed and ranked normally in around 5 minutes on page 1 of Google if you follow the steps.

Thanks, I'll probs give this a bash this afternoon if I get time

Btw, what's the sticking power of this method?

      James
They stick around a long time. I've tested a lot of free release websites and most press releases disappear after a day or two but for some reason these ones stick around for months. I haven't done any backlinking with PRLog but I know from backlinking other press releases you can get them to stick for years.

    Case Study

I'll show you a little "trick" I like to use to capture more traffic. When searching many people like to add the year at the end of their search. So I sometimes like to include 2011 at the end of my page title (press release keyword phrase) to pick up lots of extra traffic that others are missing out on by not including the year. Just by adding 2011 competition can drop significantly and you'd be surprised how many people add the year.

For this case study I've chosen the phrase

    order zara clothing online 2011

Great "buyer" keyword phrase with low competition = easy 1st page rankings in minutes.

I submitted it about 15 minutes ago and it's ranking at #5 in Google.COM

    Rinse and repeat.

I haven't applied to be an affiliate yet so for now I've linked to the official website in the press release. I can edit the press release later.

My only issue is that I can't use anchor text without a premium press release, and those are $50 each.

I guess the results of prlog.com could be related to the fact that its a free and non moderated service.

I am not sure... Actually I have registered there before, and I used not free e-mail address (I used one of my domain e-mail account on my Hostgator account). I showed up as a business person They really don't like free e-mails, the site is mostly for businesses, not spammy internet marketers

I hit a little bump with Webwire today. Some of the longtail keywords are too long to fit within the 25 character limit imposed by the Press release template. Is there any way around this?

This has always been hot garbage. Ranking a press release is not you ranking. In addition to a high bounce rate you will also have to consider the click through rate from the press release to your site.

So on a long tail that say gets 5,000 searches per month you will get only a fraction of the searches from bounces and then a fraction of the non immediate bounces that click through. In many cases you would be better going for some low long tail ranking straight to your site

I was doing PRLog releases for a while and they haven't resulted in anything; looking at my traffic stats they bring in nothing while old PRWeb releases, even ones that are a few years old, still generate traffic.

Having said that, PRLog is a great tool for reputation management after you've done the 100 or so social profiles, etc. Business names are near-zero competition keywords so it's easy to use free releases to push negative results way down in the SERPs.

Very nice tips my fellow warrior! I've been using Prlog for a few years and stop because we don't do press release as of now! Anyway, I will apply this tip when we start doing press release submission!

Forgive me for being a pessimist, but I'm definitely confused.

Ok, so you target a long tail keyword, say 4 words, that has little competition on the first page.

You rank your press release on the first page for that keyword, (which is a weak keyword) and then what happens? .... you barely get any traffic?

I just don't understand how this would be different from targeting say... local towns?
Because I'm consistently able to get my own website on page 1 for keywords like that. And I'll tell you what, the traffic is barely existent. If I were to aim for a more competitive keyword, then the press release gets ranked lower, and I probably still don't get traffic.

Maybe I should just try it and shut up. But it seems people go crazy over press releases and I just don't understand what the fuss is about.

If you want to go the free route, PRLog is a great way too go... They have a PR6, if that really matters to you...

But, you want to spend a few extra dollars on a Press Releases that's going to stick for a while in the TOP 10 of Google, even if you target more competitive keywords (keywords getting 20,000-40,000 searches a month) then I would go with SBWire or WebWire...

I use both of those and have Press Releases still sitting in the top 10 from last year, some even at #2 in Google.

    Holla!~
