Hi,

I hear that if you include your keyword in your domain name will be easy to rank on the first page of google....is that true? If yes how can i do that?

I have my keyword in my domain name and that keyword has 45,000 searches in google, however when i type the keyword on google i can't find my site.

What I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

Danny

  • You need to build backlinks to the site. Also, make sure you have your chosen keywords in your title text, H1 tag and body of the content.
  • Just having your keyword in your domain name, this gives you a boost, but by the time you get to page 3 or so, everyone will have the keyword in their domain.

Having your keyword in your domain name, + having more and better content than the competition will get you to page 1 for a really low competition keyword, page 3-5 for most keywords, and page 15-25 if the competition is really stiff.

After that, it is all about building backlinks. Before you do anything else, get the SEOquake plugin for your browser and research the competition on page 1. Look at pagerank, number of indexed pages, and number of backlinks. This is what you have to beat.

    • LOL! That's rich! Not exactly true, but sure makes sense when you
      stop and think about it.

  • Only keyword In you domain cannot bring your site to search engine . You will hav eto do on page SEO of you site and some links building also
  • Thanks to all, I was thinking that if my domain name has my keyword with a lot of searches i will be at the top or first page at least....google keyword tool tells me that there is not a lot of competition for that keyword. I think i have to wait for the domain to be old enough. I just registered 4 days ago.
