buyingaland.com (for exact domain name type-in traffic).

18,100 local searches / $1.19 CPC / Low competition

Real Estate and/or automotive and/or foreign expression niche (3 words, 11 letters)

I'll be selling it in other place and I want to have some idea to put my price tag.

Thanks

It depends if those are exact matches or if they are broad matches

If they are exact matches then I would guess that domain would be worth at least 100k

If they are broad matches, then maybe a few hundred dollars at best.

This is a question which is not easy to answer, it would depend on what kind of site someone wants to make...also on existing competition.

I am sure i could come up with a list of zillions of good KWs, like "villas in XXXX", "rentals in XYZ" etc..... but i probably would not use such a domain to make an Adsense site. Reason being that Google would very, very likely favor a "real" site which offers real estate listings - over some Adsense sites with only some Articles.

But if i were to make a full blown real estate site...then it would be interesting, provided the KW would be a good one. (18k/month is not too exciting for me personally...thats not a lot...)

    That's a great domain name .. If I were you I wouldn't sell it ..

I would create a website first and build a successful business ..

Then sell it on flippa for the price of a Lamborghini

That's the problem, I have no idea on how to develop this domain name...maybe I can partner safely with someone wanting to do it?

      I'm open to all proposals

Hey man. I just did some quick research and the keyword "buying a land" only gets 46 EXACT local searches so it's worth nothing. UNLESS you want to target "buy land" or "buying land" which get 1.300 exact local searches then it makes sense to try and rank for those keywords.

Your site ranks first for exact keywords and as you get some authority you start ranking for phrase and broad keywords.

But there are other factors to consider like the competition of the top 10 results for those keywords and how many backlinks they have.

Also making sure you can put quality original content on your site.

Look, sometimes you have to put aside all the SEO stuff and use common sense. The domain is not even grammatical - "buying a land" is never used by anyone and sounds terribly awkward. And people "buy land" in specific locations - that name is just too general. If I want to buy land in Alaska, I'll look for a site listing land in Alaska.

For those reasons in my opinion, it is worthless.

The only place I can find people using the phrase "buying a land" is in articles where it is very clear that the author's first language is not English.

So, if it has some appeal to potential land buyers whose first language is not English, then it may have some value. But, since, as someone said, it gets only 46 exact searches, it's not going to be worth much.

Plus, if someone does a search in Google for "buying a land" (without the quotes), Google is going to ignore the "a" and return results for buying land.

Possibly the only buyer will be someone whose first language is not English, who thinks that "buying a land" will be a profitable keyword. What they might be willing to spend is anyone's guess.

But, for most domain buyers, they will simply pass this one by.

Apparently, you recently bought this domain. I think you can see now why it was available for registration.

Yes, but "teething your dentist" does not have 18K+ searches per month like "buying a land" has...

Buying a land does not have 18,000 searches... that is broad match which doesn't mean anything.

            Broad Match is completely different.

Only 46 people type in "buying a land" every month.
