60% spun to 20 high PR directories

    60% spun? Did you measure that yourself or are you relying upon some software to calculate that total? Sometimes the software lies. :-)

    Supposedly, Google can tell articles are similar until they're at least 80% different, and frankly I think that's conservative. I'd say you need more spinning...

    Of course, at some point, it's easier to just write your own unique articles.

      What are you trying to accomplish?

      And for those suggesting to write unique articles for article directories, are you serious? This would be a huge waste of time. Take a random PLR article, copy a few sentences and do a search in google. You'll likely find that exact same article is indexed 20,000+ times.

      So, if you think google doesn't index "duplicate" content, you are misunderstanding what duplicate content means. There are a million threads that discuss it, so I'm not getting into it here.

      But to the OP - You may not need to spin at all. Nothin wrong with syndicating your content.

        It's indexed, but is it cached?

        Cached pages mean Google trust the site enough to store it in the primary index. Un-cached pages are stored in the supplemental index.

        Google doesn't serve results for competitive, commercially valuable, or commonly search keywords from the supplemental index.

        So, for all useful SEO purposes, a link from a page that isn't cached is a useless link.

          so how do you get the sites in cache. I thought if you submit your article to your site first and have it indexed google knows it your content..

          i keep hearing that there is nothing wrong in syndicating your content.. is there any problem

    It's measured by TBS. I was hoping it wouldnt be so bad because it would be going out to only a small amount of diretories, damn!

    Would it be ok if i submitted to 10 articles instead at around 60%? This wouldnt be a major problem would it?

    I am cutting corners because my budget isnt big. In future id hope to have all 20 article to be 100% unique.

    60% is fine especially since I'm guessing your going for backlinks and not trying to actually rank these articles, correct?

    That being said if you take a bit of time to manually write your seed article you can get 80% unique and still readable.

    My plan is to have 3 uniqie articles.

    1 is promoting product. The other 2 are informational articles. I will spin both of these too around 60% and submit 10 spun of each to high PR directories. The promotion article will be spun an submitted to hundreds of lower PR sites.
