Hi, can someone give me a list of good buying keywords... the obvious ones that come to mind are,

buy
best
review

There was a post on here a while back, never book marked it, was about the importance of using buying keywords in your domain... some great advice on what terms people use...
#buying #keywords #review

"Best" isn't really a buyer keyword, the searcher is still in "research mode". It will convert though - but at a much lower %. Same with "review".
Agree... very low, if any exact search results... whats the minimum number you'd be looking at for this buy keyword?

Interesting, I found one with "consumer reports" at the end, 1300 exact monthly searches, and the EMD is available... what you reckon.

Still in research mode... but still a good buying keyword.

Agree that "best" isn't a particularly good one, neither is "review" unless it's coupled with an exact product name.

A few other good ones are: buy, discount, coupon, for sale, sale, best price, lowest price and probably dozens more that I can't think of right now

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm sure there'd be a trademark issue with an exact product name in your url.

I've tried all your variations, and I'm getting 0 - 30 exact monthly searches.

Lest say my amazon site is reviewing microwaves

I've found an EMD microwavesconsumerreports.com with 1300 exact monthly searches... surely this is better than 30 monthly searches even if it is a 100% buying keyword.

Even if review or consumer report is a 5% conversion rate, that's 65 sales compared to 30.

"Cheap" is great for adsense sites. Lots and lots of Adwords publishers have "cheap" in their copy. Converts really well too.(Mid to high 20's) Especially in the holiday and laptop niches

I'd be wary of using consumer reports in the domain name as that's a trademarked brand.

Consumer reports is trademarked? Now I've heard it all

Can I really not use this in a domain name? I looked up consumer reports and their a magazine... my site has nothing to do with magazines.

Surely this can't be a problem, can it?
