Could this be better than SEO AllinOne?

Been using All-in-One on a few of my sites for a few years, fairly happy with it, but a few days ago I found this and started using it:

WordPress › WordPress SEO by Yoast « WordPress Plugins

Right now I'm impressed with it, but have any of you guys switched or tried it? What do you think of it?

Yes Yoast SEO plugin is the best free SEO plugin right now. I have been using it and it's really awesome! It's one month ago I switched to this from All in one SEO.

It is a very good alternative to the commercial SEO plugins too.

What is the difference between Yoast, All In One and Headspace? I'm using All In One SEO and SEO Meta Pack. But I don't think those two are generating the correct meta tags per post.

I have been using the MOW SEO plugin that works with the All In one SEO plugin by Michael Torbert. The MOW SEO Plugin Addon is a paid plugin but it really cuts down on the time it takes to optimize you content and it helps you to make sure everything is optimized properly. Just my .02 worth.

I use Yoast and I don't have any complaints. I have also used All-In-One and Platinum.

I have been using Yoast for a few months and so far no complaints. I believe it's the best SEO plugin for WordPress available.

There'a also Platinum SEO and, if you been using All In One SEO, you can transfer the settings across to Platinum SEO

Yoast definitely the number one seo plugin for wordpress right now.
I know networks that have changed their seo plugins to use Yoast after running tests.

    Cheers

It's a good plugin, but I prefer All in One SEO.

Was it dreamhost that banned users from using All-In-One SEO because it's a resource hog?

How much resources does Yoast use in comparison? Google is now judging websites on speed, so if All-In-One SEO slows your site down, it could be bad for your SERPs ranking in Google.

AllInOne is one that I've always used by default. Isn't Yoast associated with AllInOne though?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[4138494].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author thegotoguy
I don't think they are associated, but they do much of the same things. But Yoast has way more to offer than All In One.

I've switched to Yoast for all of my blogs. It's a better plugin and also removes the need for a separate sitemap plugin

I'm too used to all-in-one SEO lol. There's really nothing wrong with it I think. It's been getting the job done for me on all my wordpress websites. I use Yoast with my companies website though, it's fine, but I like the feel of all-in-one seo better. Personal taste though.
